        We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Programmer / Analyst to join our outsourced development team in Odessa. This is a permanent full time position.
       
        We specialize in developing database driven web applications for the North American market using Microsoft and Oracle technologies.
       
        You will be assigned a new project. Existing web applications, custom library of web controls and shared code repository together with documentation will serve as a good starting point.
       
        Here is a typical time distribution for your activities:
       
        30% - System Analysis, Datamodeling
        50% - Coding
        20% - Quality Assurance
       
        Below are just a few of the project challenges:
       
        - Ability to sustain an ultimately high peak load (hundreds of requests per second), caching strategy, load distribution strategy, fine-tuned SQL queries and datamodel
        - Multilingual user interface (handled automatically by our custom controls)
        - Hosting many web sites in one virtual web site, using different “skins” (style sheets) for each hosted site, limited customisation for each hosted site
       
        Requirements:
       
        - Superior analytical and learning skills
        - Ability to work with minimum or no supervision
        - Ability to provide documented tasks for 2-3 other developers
        - Web applications design
        - Database design
        - Excellent understanding of OOP
        - Hands-on programming using Microsoft tools and technologies
        - Practical knowledge of VB.NET (or C#), ASP.NET, .NET Framework
        - Practical knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000
        - Practical knowledge of SQL optimisation
        - Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
        - Reading English is required. Writing English is desired but not absolutely required. We speak Russian, Ukrainian.
       
        Salary: starting from $700. Salary will depend on candidate's experience. We may also consider candidates who have most but not all required experience, and who will be committed to learn new exciting Microsoft technologies.
