As a result of growth our company looks for a Unix System and DB Applications Administrator for our Kiev office. The potential candidate should meet the following requirements: • Experience with Linux and Solaris platform • Knowledge of databases (DB2, Informix, Oracle, Sybase and MSQL). • English skills (reading, writing) Major responsibilities will include: • Implementing solutions using Linux and UNIX (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Tru64) platform • Implementing system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system • Installation and configuration of computerized databases applications and servers • Providing operational and testing guidelines, and support, ensuring accuracy and completeness of installation of various database applications and support tools • Establishing and maintaining various databases (DB2, Informix, Oracle, Sybase and MSQL) installation and integrity controls • Formulation and monitoring procedures, and standards relating to various databases installations, configurations and management • Providing technical expertise and support to engineering groups working with various databases • Proposing and implementing enhancements in databases installations that will improve the performance of engineering tests We are ready to boost your professionalism with high maturity of process organization, creative intelligent team to work with, international projects to work in, inspiring environment, in-door foreign languages trainings, medical insurance and other social benefits.
