Large software development company is looking for a candidate to fill in IT Manager position. Main responsibilities include: - managing the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. - ensuring proper functioning of company's information processing system and making upgrades as necessary. - helping business operations to utilize information systems to improve efficiency. - keeping network equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs. Ideal candidate should: - be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures - Unix administrating - knowledge of TCP/IP protocol - firewall, proxy - network technologies - managed switches, VLAN (incl. Layer 3) - backup technologies - informational security principles, etc. - experience with database technologies (SQL, Oracle) - have extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - have high level of creativity and latitude - be able to speak and write in English. - Macintosh knowledge would be a plus. |
